Materials and Preparation
-Post-It Notes or any "sticky note" brand. The size is 3 inches x 3 inches (standard Post-It note size).

-Books or other objects to act as "weight" that will be held up by the Post-It Notes.

-Scale (for measuring weight)
Rules
The rules for this event are simple. You may only use Post-It Notes or sticky notes (3 inches by 3 inches) to create pillars or columns that can hold up weight No tape, glue, rubber bands, or other materials can be used. Only Post-Its.

We typically see competitors building columns and pillars that hold up a book or tray onto which more weight is added. There must be at least 3 inches of space between the ground and the objects being held up (in other words, your pillars must be at least 3 inches tall).
Judging
While the total amount of weight being held up by your design is the primary factor in the judging, special consideration will be given for creativity and "wow factor."
